Policies & Procedures

Please note our office policies & procedures before booking an appointment

Does Dr. Campbell accept insurance?

No, Dr. Campbell does not accept insurance. Not contracting with insurance companies allows her to focus on patient care in an intimate clinic setting without the burdens associated with insurance companies. We encourage you to read more about direct-pay and how it can benefit you as a patient.

Do new surgical and cosmetic patients need a consultation before procedures?

Yes, all new surgical and cosmetic patients are required to schedule a consult prior to in-office procedures, except for wrinkle relaxers (Botox or Dysport) and Bela MD Facials. This ensures our practice is a good fit for you and that you are well-informed about in-office procedures. Dr. Campbell hopes to partner with patients for a lifetime, cultivating a peaceful clinic that runs smoothly and on time.

Will additional discussions during appointments incur extra charges?

Yes, discussions about skin issues and cosmetic treatment planning during appointments for other procedures may incur a consultation charge. We are happy to accommodate additional discussions as time permits during your procedure appointments, but please note these may incur a visit charge. Dr. Campbell charges $300 for medical dermatology visits and $300 for cosmetic treatment planning.

What are the fees for medical dermatology visits and cosmetic treatment planning?

Dr. Campbell charges $300 for both medical dermatology visits and cosmetic treatment planning sessions.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy requires at least 2 business days' advance notice before your scheduled appointment. Regardless of the reason for cancellation or no-show, a $100 fee will be charged. When you book your appointment, you are holding space on the calendar that is no longer available to other patients.

Why do you require credit cards on file?

In an effort to offer contactless payment and enforce our cancellation policy, we require credit cards on file.

Do new prescriptions require a visit?

Yes, new prescriptions—including changes in potency—require a visit. This ensures your safety and helps limit the administrative burden on our small staff. Most oral medications require a follow-up appointment approximately 4-6 weeks after to ensure your safety and typically require an annual visit for safety and medico-legal reasons. Topical medications can usually be refilled for up to one year. If you're uncertain about filling a medication during your visit, please request it be sent so you can decide later whether to have the prescription filled.

What is your privacy policy?

Opt-in consent data and mobile numbers cannot be shared with any third parties. Personal information cannot be shared or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

What are your SMS terms and conditions?

Dr. Caren Campbell, Inc. may send receipts, appointment reminders, and service-related messages via SMS. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
